About this build

Bought as a tired import in 2020 with 118,000 km on it and a stock twin-turbo setup that had seen better days. The plan was never a show car — it was to build something that could do a track day on Saturday and the commute on Monday without anything falling off.

The 2JZ came out in 2022 for a full rebuild: forged internals, Precision 6870 single turbo, MaxxECU Race running the lot. The ZF 8HP conversion went in the following winter, which is the single best thing I have done to the car. It still has the original paint, and it is staying that way.
